Hydraulic crane operator • Lawrence County, Pennsylvania

Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
