Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Jos South, Plateau State. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
