The role involves cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections; install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings; make connections to the mains water and sewer lines; fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves; solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings; chase walls and floors for concealed pipework.
