Vacancy available: we are hiring a public area cleaner in Decatur County, Iowa. The role involves: • Clean public areas — lobbies, corridors, lifts and washrooms • Vacuum carpets, mop hard floors and dust every surface in the room • Service 14-16 rooms per shift to the floor checklist • Dust and polish furniture, mirrors and glass with the right chemicals • Sort soiled linen, send it to laundry and count the returns • Carry out turndown service in the evening What we are looking for: • Able to stand, bend and lift through long shifts • 1-2 years experience in hotel housekeeping • Able to operate vacuum, buffing and carpet-shampoo machines Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $7,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
