Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Stewart County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
