Appliance maintenance engineer — North Ayrshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring an appliance maintenance engineer in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will work in a rental property between tenancies. What we are looking for: • Willing to carry an on-call rota for emergency callouts • Up to date with PAT testing and electrical safety regulations • Good customer manner and clear communication with clients Day to day you will strip down and rebuild appliance motors, pumps and compressors; advise customers on appliance care and preventive maintenance; reprogram and calibrate electronic control boards and displays; recharge and evacuate refrigerant circuits on fridges and freezers using recovery equipment; test and replace heating elements, thermostats and thermal fuses. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer £1,850 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
