Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Clarke County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
