Urgent requirement: we are hiring a window glazier in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) Day to day you will fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
