Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Jersey County, Illinois. Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 6+ years on the tools preferred.
