Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. You will work at a busy refrigeration workshop. Ideal candidate: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade Your main tasks: • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Service split AC units and VRF systems At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
