Rebar fixer — Schuyler County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Schuyler County, New York. The job is on a busy residential building site. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
