Glass and glazing technician • South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut

Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in South Central Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based in a mirror and glass showroom. On a typical shift you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; replace cracked or broken window panes; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames. You should have: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
