Pipe TIG welder wanted in Pulaski County

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Pulaski County, Arkansas. You will be based on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
