Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Cottle County, Texas. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Requirements: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day 1+ years on the tools preferred.
