Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Greene County, Virginia. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $9,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
