Turning centre operator wanted in Chesterfield County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred The role involves: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Six days a week, one day off.
