Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Jefferson County, Mississippi. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing The role involves box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
