Stainless steel welder wanted in Montezuma County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Montezuma County, Colorado. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
