Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Webster County, Kentucky. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Part-time with flexible hours.
