Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass fitter in Adams County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise facade project. What we are looking for: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units You will replace cracked or broken window panes; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris.
