Health and safety supervisor — Tazewell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Tazewell County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
