Stamping press operator wanted in Decatur County

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Decatur County, Kansas. The job is on the press shop floor. Day to day you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Full-time with occasional weekends.
