Great opportunity: we are hiring a line cook in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking On the job you will handle: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks 1+ years on the tools preferred.
