Vacancy available: kitchen porter (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Marion County, Illinois. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Clean, drain and descale the dish machine at the end of each shift • Mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks What we are looking for: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates Six days a week, one day off.
