Immediate opening: we are hiring a sausage maker in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths You will debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain.
