Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Spokane County, Washington. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
