Panel welder wanted in Webster County

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Webster County, Iowa. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
