Join our team: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Union County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
