Sand plant operator wanted in El Paso County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in El Paso County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding You will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
