Reinforcement fitter — Saint Francois County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Saint Francois County, Missouri. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
