Vacancy available: we are hiring a car refinisher in Smith County, Texas. You will be based in a spray booth. What we are looking for: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
