Gantry crane operator — Blair County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Blair County, Pennsylvania. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Day to day you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. Requirements: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
