What we are looking for: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Your main tasks: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash 5+ years on the tools preferred.
