Head baker — Sonoma County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Sonoma County, California. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens 2+ years on the tools preferred.
