Lathe operator — Tallapoosa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. The job is in a CNC machine shop. On the job you will handle: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
