We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Summit County, Colorado. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
