Vacancy available: bakery assistant (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Alaska. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
