We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jackson County, Indiana. You will work on a structural steel site. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
