Power float operator wanted in Duplin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power float operator in Duplin County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
