On a typical shift you will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Requirements: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
