Shakeout operator wanted in Municipal Area Council

Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Municipal Area Council, Federal Capital Territory. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. The role involves prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
