Lathe programmer-operator • Jackson County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Jackson County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day to day you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Full-time, day shift. $6,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
