On the job you will handle: • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour Requirements: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Six days a week, one day off.
