Rigging foreman — South Ayrshire

Join our team: we are hiring a rigging foreman in South Ayrshire, Scotland. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
