Production welder — Pittsylvania County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
