Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Yuma County, Colorado. Your main tasks: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity You should have: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
