Tig welder wanted in Henrico County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Henrico County, Virginia. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
