Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Jefferson County, West Virginia. The job is at a stone quarry. Requirements: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently On the job you will handle: • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals Rotating shifts.
