Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Davison County, South Dakota. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Six days a week, one day off.
