Concrete placer — Redcar and Cleveland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Redcar and Cleveland, England. You will be based on a building construction site. The role involves patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
